Partial Overlap Seal End

This style features closure panels on top and bottom that are just wide enough to overlap with an adhesive seal, as compared to the FOSE, which features full-width top and bottom closure panels. This partial overlap of the inner and outer panels is illustrated in Fig. 4. The “Cereal Closure”, as shown in Fig. 3, is widely used for POSE dry cereal cartons, with the outer top closure panel’s lock tab generally nesting in the adjacent carton’s outer closure panel.
